Adjustable Silver Ring for Age 12+ and adults
At popular request, here is a young person’s workshop during which they can experience the fun side of silversmithing – bashing, stamping letters and symbols and generally having a fun time with you too but without the more grown-up side of soldering. Wendy is a qualified B.Ed teacher and has taught hundreds of adults and children over the years.
Children over the age of age 12 are welcomed with a (paying) adult. Children aged 14+ and adults do not need to be accompanied. You will learn how to make an overlapping and adjustable ring (so it can grow with you) at this short introduction to some silversmithing skills. You will learn how to size, cut, file and form a beautiful sterling silver ring. You can also add some letters and symbols, like a heart, star, daisy to make it truly your own. Create a special memory with your child and both come away with a special momento.
After the workshop finishes, why not visit the Christmas markets at Taurus which will be going on all day all over the site!
The workshop price includes all materials and refreshments and there is plenty of free parking on site.
