Silver Bead Pendant (with chain)
Wendy from WMM Silver is returning to Aldington to teach you how to cut, stamp lettering, dome and solder your own “Smarty” bead pendant at this friendly and informal workshop. You will use skills of design, cutting, filing and sanding and doming and soldering the precious metal sterling silver to make a bead like one of those in the images below.
All materials, homemade cake and liquid refreshments are provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.
The cost of Sunday’s workshop to make a Smarty Bead Pendant (with included silver chain) is £95. You can reserve your place with a (non-refundable) deposit of £30 (refunds given if a replacement student can be found).
Beginners will learn a little bit more about the origins of hallmarking, sterling silver and the secrets of this fascinating artisan craft. Returners will learn new skills and hone their existing techniques learned on previous workshops.
