Blakeney – Silver Stacking Rings Workshop – POSTPONED TBA
December 25, 2020 @ 10:00 am - April 23, 2021 @ 12:30 pm£25
CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: Sadly due to social distancing restrictions and lockdown I have had to postpone this workshop to a later date. I have been in regular touch with the committee of Blakeney Hall and am awaiting clearance to go ahead and re-book a date when it is deemed safe to hold an event in the hall.
Stacking rings in sterling silver – make your own in this friendly and creative class – add a few features such as little balls, cut out hearts or shapes in either of any combination of sterling silver, brass and copper. You can use bobble or twisted wire or create a faceted look on any or all of your rings and this is where you can get creative! You can make up to three (or more for the additional cost of the silver.)
Learn artisan silversmithing techniques and a little of the history of silver and hallmarking.
Enjoy homemade cake, shortbread and refreshments whilst you work.
At the end of the workshop you’ll not only have some lovely personalised jewellery to take away, but also a huge sense of well being, pride and achievement.
The total cost of the workshop is £68 which includes everything you need plus homemade cake, coffee, teas. Pay £25 now to spread the cost and the balance of £43 on the day.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement attendee can be found.
There is plenty of free parking outside.
