Silver Christmas Jewellery

Make your own silver Christmas jewellery at this dedicated workshop at The Studio Jewellery School, a centre of excellence at Taurus Crafts in Lydney, Forest of Dean. The workshop is lead by resident tutor Wendy Murphy of WMM Silver.

You will be given full scope to design a piece of jewellery (pendant or earrings) in a Christmas theme, for example a holly leaf or Christmas tree pendant or earrings,  You can either gift them to another or keep them for yourself for the upcoming Christmas period.  Wendy will email you a couple of weeks beforehand to discuss design options so that we have the right silver in stock for you.

Learn artisan silversmithing techniques and a little of the history of silver and hallmarking.

Enjoy homemade cake, shortbread and refreshments whilst you work, although the workshop ends around 3pm so you may like to bring a sandwich or buy one from the on site cafe.

At the end of the workshop you’ll not only have some lovely personalised jewellery to take away, but also a huge sense of well being, pride and achievement.

The cost of the workshop is £80 which includes everything you need and refreshments.
