Silver Stacking Rings OR Hammered Ring
Come and make a set of three sterling silver stacking rings at this informative and fun silver workshop at The 2&6 Therapy Rooms in Gloucester.
NEW! As an alternative you can make a chunky hammered ring (see photo below)
During the class, you will be taught all the skills you need to size, cut, file, solder and polish your rings by expert silver jewellery designer and tutor, Wendy Murphy from WMM Silver. Wendy has years of experience in teaching beginners at these classes and makes sure that you can follow all the stages of the make in a clear and demonstrated way. It’s a great way to forget the stresses and strains of everyday life as you get lost in thought whilst making your piece.
You can also add stamped lettering on a heart or disc that you add to your stacking ring, hammer a texture on the ring or choose from a variety of textures and wire forms for the other stacking rings.
Always enjoyed with very proud and satisfied customers – this is suitable for beginners.
The workshop price includes all materials and refreshments including homemade cake and biscuits. and there is plenty of free parking on site.
Prices: to make either three stacking rings is £78 . The hammered ring is £72. Pay £25 deposit now and the balance on the day.
Please note that a cancellation charge of £15 will be deducted if you cancel within 14 days of the workshop date.
Here’s a review by Sam: “I attended the stacking rings workshop with Wendy and had a great time. I learnt lots and feel that I can now make a simple ring by myself! Wendy was very supportive and charming!”
And another from Robina who has attended several workshops: “I spent another lovely day with Wendy yesterday making stacking rings. They are beautiful ❤️ I’ve done several workshops with Wendy now and always come away wanting to do another. It’s always interesting and informative and lots of fun. We laugh a lot whilst working hard on our projects. We eat Wendy’s homemade cakes and shortbread which are delicious. It doesn’t matter whether you are new to the workshops or have been before – Wendy teaches you what you need to know for the project in a relaxed, fun and interesting way. A thoroughly rewarding experience every time!”
