Smarty Bead Pendant

This workshop is my favourite to help others make, the “Smarty Bead” pendant.  I love wearing my own every day – tactile, fun, suitable for all occasions and well, just gorgeous to fiddle with!

At this workshop, which is suitable for beginners and improvers alike, you will cut, stamp (if you like, or leave plain) letters of symbols, dome and form two sides of the bead, then solder together and make a ring to hang it on a chain. Yes, it’s that simple but complex too and that’s where I come in to guide you stage by stage to a perfect finish.

The cost of the workshop is £88 for a 16 mm bead and £92 for a 20mm bead. Reserve your place with a £25 deposit and pay the balance a week before or on the day.  Included are the silver, homemade shortcake and refreshments.  The workshop takes around 4.5 hours and so you may like to bring a sandwich with you although there is also the Taurus Crafts onsite cafe you can purchase food from.
