Fold Formed Cuff Bangle

Wendy from WMM Silver is returning to Aldington to teach you how to fold, forge and form a cuff bangle at this friendly and informal workshop.  You will use skills of design, cutting, filing and sanding and in folding the precious metal sterling silver to form a cuff bangle like one of those in the images below. You will be given scope to design your own piece based on the principles of fold forming, or just use one of these designs as your template.

All materials, homemade cake and liquid refreshments are provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.

The COST of the workshop to make a fold-formed or feather bangle is £110.

To make the heavy open cuff hammered bangle, the cost is £130 due to the weight of silver used.

I will need to know two weeks in advance which bangle you’d prefer to make and your wrist measurement so I can order the correct amount of silver.

To secure your place, pay a deposit of £30 and the balance on the day. Please note that deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement can be found for the workshop.

The cost of Sunday’s workshop to make a Smarty Bead Pendant (with included silver chain) is £95 on its own but if you book for both days, this will be reduced to £65 saving you £30.

Beginners will learn a little bit more about the origins of hallmarking, sterling silver and the secrets of this fascinating artisan craft.  Returners will learn new skills and hone their existing techniques learned on previous workshops.
